CollegePrep-101 is an award-winning web site and formerly a college credit course that generated over 1,000 college credit hours.  Originally created in 1996, CollegePrep-101 has helped thousands of high school students, their parents, and those who work with them, get ready for and go to college.

lance_libraryLance Millis is creator and writer of CollegePrep-101.  He has over 20 years of experience in higher education, including 7 in the Office of High School and College Relations and over 13 in academic advisement and student services administration at a large, public, land-grant university in Oklahoma.  He has been involved in new student enrollment, teaches Freshman Orientation class, and has won campus awards for academic advising.  Millis has been advisor to student organizations, a volunteer for new student orientation, served on and headed selection committees for student scholarships and awards, and headed the school's enrollment appeals committee.

Millis also created College Answer Guy, a web site with much the same goal as CollegePrep-101.  It contains weekly columns that appear in print (newspapers) and on the web site (www.collegeanswerguy.com).

Millis has also published a book, entitled College Prep 101, and a report, entitled How to Go to College Cheaper, which are available online at http://www.collegeanswerguy.com/index.php?option=com_rokquickcart&view=rokquickcart&Itemid=62 and www.amazon.com.

Millis holds both BS and MS degrees from Oklahoma State University (BS, Recreation Management, MS, Natural and Applied Sciences, Interdisciplinary Sciences Option), and is a graduate of Bartlesville High School, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.  While he was in college, Millis was a member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity, Phi Epsilon Kappa Honorary Fraternity, and served as OSU’s mascot, Pistol Pete during his senior year.  Millis is married and has two children.
