College Life - Mike's Saturday PDF  | Print |
9:05 Wake up, get in the shower
9:23 Get dressed, eat poptarts, and blast my favorite loud music from my computer.
9:30 Watch College Gameday Live on ESPN with my roommates.
10:05 Check the weather, and get ready to head to the football stadium.
10:20 Pile everyone that plans on sitting in our group in a pickup, and look for a parking spot within a mile of the stadium.  Lucky for us, it’s raining, and the turnout is lower than expected.  We got to park about 5 minutes from the stadium.
10:40 Find our seats in the stadium.  We decide that it’s not really that crowded yet, and our seats won’t get taken if we walk around the covered parts to stay dry.
11:00 Meet up with my dad, who came to town for the game.  He’s hungry, so I make him buy me lunch too.
11:25 Head back to our seats, toughing out the rain.
12:05 Kickoff!  The rain lets up at the start of the 2nd quarter, and the Cowboys won in a dominating fashion.  Go Pokes!!  My dad ends up sitting in the student section with us because of the light crowd, and we all have a great time.
About 3:30 Game ends, and we begin the process of trying to get home through the traffic.  Luckily for the people in the back of the truck, the rain seems to be over for the day.
4:05 Finally get home, change out of my wet clothes.
4:30 Make my dad take me to a nice restaurant before he goes home.
6:00 Powernap on the couch.
6:40 Watch college football with my roommates.  This might sound strange to some, but during football season we keep 2 TV’s in the living room just for gamedays.
10:30 After the football games are over, we watch a movie with our neighbors.
1:00 AM

Bedtime!
